Glyncoed Primary School

The Glyncoed Primary and Childcare Facility in Blaenau Gwent, originally built in 1936, has been redeveloped into a modern 360-place primary school and 52-place childcare centre. Morgan Sindall managed the construction, while Austin-Smith designed the building, creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. SystemGlaze completed the glazing package, ensuring the building benefits from energy-efficient and visually appealing glass installations. This project reflects the community’s commitment to providing a modern educational environment while honouring the site’s historical significance.
