Setting the benchmark for green transport infrastructure in Wales, Merthyr Tydfil bus station won 5 prestigious awards in the space of a year, including the best building project in Wales 2022. The design by Capita structures includes 12 fully glazed saw-tooth bus bays, all with automatic sliding doors and a modern public concourse with a large glass front providing natural lighting. As a group BSW supplied and installed all external glazing, as well as real time information totems and advertising panels.
